Help me out guys, what have I here? It has not been run, it was put up on blocks and the wheels were taken . Is it a Top Gun? All info appreciated. Well, I can answer my own question. After much research it turns out that this is an FP Racing Puma Pro 21XL and is more rare than teeth on a hen. I can find only one reference to it so far...does anybody out there know anything more? www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=114457&id=28609This shows it well.....

Its not that rare as they were also sold under many different names, companies Like- Gepard by Garbo Well, I just sold a Garbo and the suspension was entirely different, also the chassis plate is not the same as the Puma and the roll cage on the FP loops down to where the the rear two vertical legs begin and is welded there whereas on the Gepard it loops around well above it. Also the roll cage at the front of the Garbo does not come down to the chassis plate in two seperate legs but are joined. There are four cross-members on the FP cage and only three on the Garbo. And the front and rear suspension towers are metal plate on the Garbo but are molded HP on the Puma. Just like the GV Hunter, sold under different names but not entirely the same construction. My point is that The FP Puma Pro is rare, not the Gepard or any other model name it may have sold under or look like. I googled it and came up with one on youtube and one in the rareties section of a Tamiya website. However if they are not that rare then I should not have to much trouble finding the correct wheels right? They should be white and look like the Star of David. On the Garbo they are plain six spoked. Ah yes, and on the FP the wheels are driven by a 19mm hex locked by a 12mm nut...the Garbo is driven by a 12mm and is locked by a 5mm I believe. However, my Garbo might have been a complete one off and may not have represented the breed.
